Joseph August Freeman, 61, a native of Marrero and resident of Thibodaux, died 
Friday March 22, 2013.

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until funeral time Tuesday at St. Paul Baptist 
Church in Thibodaux. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the church, 

with burial in St. Paul Baptist Church cemetery in Thibodaux.

He is survived by his wife, Sherryl Johnson Freeman; brother, Donald (Sheila) 
Freeman and Ronald (Lydia) Freeman; sister, Faye (Steward) Washington; and one 
grandchild.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph Octave Freeman and Lateria 
Lemieux Freeman; brother, Nelson Freeman; and daughter, Lavina M. Freeman.

Kennedy Funeral Home in Raceland is in charge of arrangements.
