Odette Gaubert Hebert, 96, a native and resident of Thibodaux, died Monday, 
March 4, 2013.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until funeral time Thursday at Landry's Funeral 
Home in Thibodaux. A Mass of Christian burial will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at St. 
Joseph Co-Cathedral in Thibodaux, 

with burial in St. Joseph Co-Cathedral cemetery in Thibodaux.

She is survived by her children, Georgette H. Duet and husband, Henry, Sharon 
H. Ogden and husband, Michael, Jennifer H. Benoit and husband, Johnny, Kirk 
Hebert and wife, Brenda, and Frederick Hebert and wife, Mary Ann; sister, 
Gertrude Boudreaux; 18 grandchildren; 38 great-grandchildren; and seven great-
great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, George Eddie Hebert; parents, 
Orestile Gaubert and Louisa Aupied Gaubert; children, Larry and Douglas Hebert; 
siblings, Louis Gaubert, Calvin Gaubert, Bertha Leonard, Rita Gaubert, Cecile 
Bourgeois, Edith Portier and Corine Landry; grandchildren, Jada Ann Benoit, 
Josh Anthony Benoit and Jace Andrew Benoit; and great-grandchild, Gabrielle 
Hebert.

Landry's Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
