Emmanuel Jenkins Jr. 89, a native of Liberty, Miss., and resident of Gray, died 
Friday, March 15, 2013.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday and from 9 a.m. until funeral time 
Saturday at Jones Funeral Home in Houma.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Mt. Olive Baptist Church, with 

burial in Mt. Olive Baptist Church cemetery.

He is survived by his daughter, Brenda Jenkins; sons, J.C., George, Gregory, 
Cedrick and Clayton Jenkins; 16 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Decloria White-Jenkins; son, James 
Jenkins; daughters, Marie Helen J. Sims and Valerie Jenkins; parents, Emanuel 
Sr. and Melissa P. Jenkins; sisters, Lovie Lee, Freddie Martin and Myrtis 
Reese; and brothers, Andrew and Charles Jenkins.

Jones Funeral Home in Houma is in charge of arrangements.
