Please go to http://usgwarchives.net/la/lafourche/obits/dateobits/2013/f1303.htm and click on the name of interest. ========== William "Billy" Stuart Juenke, 81, a native and resident of Houma, died at 1:30 a.m. Saturday, March 23, 2013. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until funeral time Monday at St. Bernadette Soubirous Catholic Church. A Mass of Christian burial will be at noon Monday at the church, with burial in St. Francis de Sales Cemetery No. 2. He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Carolyn Hutchinson Juenke; son, Michael S. Juenke and wife, Allyce Fontaine; daughters, Cindy Bunch and husband, Carroll Bunch, and Jill Bianca and husband, Anthony J. Bianca; brother-in-law, Allen "Vic" Babin; grandchildren, Courtney Gulledge and fiance, Kevin Bailes, Cayla Sailer and husband, Shawn, Jacob Seely and wife, Erica, Nathan Juenke, Lauren Juenke and fiance, Blake Waters, Candace Rogers and husband, Jeremy, and Benjamin Seely and fiance, Tiffany Picou; great-grandchildren, Aubree Seely, Hudson Seely, Dylan Gulledge, Austin Gulledge, Gia Bailes, Adalyn Sailer, Drake, Mia and Morgan Bhatia, and Vincent and Giovanna Bianca, He was preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Edith Eells Juenke; sisters, Kathy J. Babin and Carol Beth "Tookie" Vincent; and son-in-law, Daniel B. Seely. He was a parishioner of St. Bernadette Soubirous Catholic Church. Billy was a 1950 graduate of Terrebonne High School where he and his wife were Homecoming King and Queen. While there, he excelled in football, basketball and track. He was recruited by LSU for football and track. He continued his education at Hines Junior College before entering the Air Force, where he served as a crew chief during the Korean Conflict. He retired from sea safety and survival after a lengthy career with Delta Safety and Supply. He was an avid bass fisherman and loved spending time with his family.
