Emmett Francis Lapeyrouse, 58, a native and resident of Chauvin, died Sunday, 
March 10, 2013.

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until funeral time Thursday at St. Joseph 
Catholic Church. A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at the 
church, 

with burial in St. Joseph Catholic Church cemetery in Chauvin.

He is survived by his brothers, Euland (Georgiana) Lapeyrouse Sr., Ray (Brenda) 
Lapeyrouse, Lawrence (Jane) Lapeyrouse, and Willard (Nelda) Lapeyrouse.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Camille Lapeyrouse and Lucretia 
Authement Lapeyrouse; and grandparents, Octave and Emma Lapeyrouse, and Myrtle 
and Clara Authement.

Samart Funeral Home in Houma is in charge of arrangements.
