Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until funeral time Tuesday at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Houma. A Mass of Christian burial will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the church, with burial in Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Catholic Church cemetery in Houma. He is survived by his devoted wife of 52 years, Betty Oubre Ledet of Houma; brother, Charles Ledet and wife, Joan, of Houston, Texas; sister, Carol Gold and husband, Ray, of Houma; brother-in-law, Howard "Buck" Oubre; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Leonce and Marie Goetz Ledet; brothers, L.H., Loyal and Gordon Ledet; and sisters, Mary E. Patterson, Beverly Curey and Evelyn Belanger. Kerragen was a parishioner of Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Catholic Church. He was also an extraordinary Eucharistic minister and member of the Finance Committee at the church. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II and retired from Union Oil Company of California as a production foreman. He was a very peace-filled man dedicated to his God and to his family.
