John Henry "Charles" Malveaux, a native of Rosa and resident of Bayou Vista, 
died Monday, March 11, 2013.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until funeral time Saturday at New Zorah 
Baptist Church. Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at the church, 

with burial in Morgan City Cemetery.

He is survived by three sons, John (Kim) Davis Sr., Jeremy, and Johnell 
(Melissa) Williams; one stepson, Nicholas Williams; one stepdaughter, Vicki 
Williams; four sisters, Mary Lou Brown, Jeanette (Larry) Green, Shirley 
(Robert) Alfred, and Betty Delco; five brothers: Hayward, Joseph, Floyd, Calvin 
(Tawana) and Caston Malveaux; nine grandchildren; 10 step-grandchildren, and 
eight step-great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; Hayward Sr. and Indiana Malveaux, and 
one brother, Clarence Malveaux.

Jones Funeral Home in Houma is in charge of arrangements.
