Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until funeral time Thursday at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Larose. A Mass of Christian burial will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at the church, with burial in Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Catholic Church cemetery in Larose. She is survived by three brothers, Herman "Brud," Harrison "White," and Wilbert Matherne; and one sister, Madeline Falgout. She was preceded in death by her parents, Leon and Olympia Rivet Matherne; and four brothers, Edmond, Norman, Tilman and Morrison Matherne. She was a member of the Ladies Altar Society and a parishioner of Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Larose. She will be dearly missed by her godchildren, nieces and nephews, great-nieces and nephews, great-great-nieces and nephews, neighbors and friends. The family wishes to thank the doctors, nurses and staff of Our Lady of the Sea Hospital, along with its Home Health, and South Louisiana Hospice, including Ms. Jill who attended Earline in her final hours. Special thanks to the Rev. Alberto "Albert" Santiago, the Rev. Ronilo Villamor, the Rev. Rholando Grecia and the Rev. Mario Veloso.
