Doris B. Richard, 85, a native of Thibodaux, and resident of Schriever, died at 
9:28 a.m. Wednesday, March 20, 2013.

Visitation will be from 8:30 a.m. until funeral time Saturday at Christ the 
Redeemer Catholic Church in Thibodaux. A Mass of Christian burial will be at 11 
a.m. Saturday at the church, 

with burial in St. Joseph Cemetery in Thibodaux.

She is survived by her husband, Emile Richard; daughters, Margaret Andras and 
husband, Willie, JoAnn Dennis, Connie Hymel and husband, James, Becky Crochet 
and Robert, and Nora Hymel and husband, "Brother"; son, Kent Barrilleaux and 
Theresa; 11 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Ernest Barrilleaux and Elvina Landry 
Barrilleaux; brothers, Alvin, Medric and Murphy Barrilleaux; sisters, Ouida 
Vicknair, Lelia Adams, Edna Barrilleaux and Ludia Arcement; and one great-
grandchild.

Thibodaux Funeral Home in Thibodaux is in charge of arrangements.
