Joyce Marie Robertson, 49, a native of Terrebonne Parish and resident of Houma, 
died Sunday, Feb. 24, 2013.

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until funeral time Saturday at Dularge Community 
Baptist Church. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the church, 

with burial in Southdown Cemetery.

She is survived by her companion, Donald Jackson of Houma; stepmother, Victoria 
Robertson of Gray; sons, Stafford (Shannon) Robertson, Dontrell Robertson and 
Denzell Robertson of Houma; daughters, Shery, Stephanie, Danielle and Donna 
Robertson, all of Houma; brothers, Sylvester, Michael, Anthony, Sterling, 
Darryl (DeAnna) Robertson, Edward (Kim) Kenny of Houma, Edward Talley of Gray, 
Phillip, Carl Poindexter of Raceland, and Jamie (Janette) Hanzy of Fort Worth, 
Texas; sisters, Barbara White of Lafayette, Virginia Robertson of Houma, 
Valerie Robertson of New Orleans, Petrell Kenny of Houma, and Ann Stovall of 
Gray; and 17 grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Earl Sr. and Edna Coleman Robertson; 
son, Donald Robertson; daughter, Donsheka Robertson; brother, Earl Robertson 
Jr.; sister, Roxanne Robertson; and grandparent, Abbie Sims.

Gertrude Geddes Willis Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
