Relatives and friends are invited to attend a wake from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at H.C. Alexander Funeral Home in Lutcher. The rosary will be recited by the Knights of Columbus at 7 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. There will be visitation from 9:30 a.m. until funeral time Monday at St. Phillip's Catholic Church in Vacherie. A Mass of Christian burial will be at 11 a.m. Monday at the church, with burial in St. Phillip's Catholic Church cemetery in Vacherie. He is survived by his beloved wife, Mabel Waguespack Rodrigue; children, Evelyn Rodrigue (Lloyd) Duhé, Yvonne Rodrigue Frederick, Louise Rodrigue (Darryl) Hoorman, Julie Elise (Keith) Miller and Michael (Bobbie) Rodrigue. He leaves behind his grandchildren, Jennifer Rodrigue (Steven) Fernandez, Danny (Petrina) Duhé, Melissa Frederick (Andrew) Demand, Michelle Rodrigue, Sarah Frederick, Amanda Frederick (David) Melancon, Mark (Mary) Duhé, Stephanie Peteuil and Marie Peteuil; and two great-grandchildren Luke and Danica Duhé. He is also survived by his sister, Martha Rodrigue. He was preceded in death by his parents, Maxine and Ludivine Rodrigue; his siblings, Oline Rodrigue Guillot, Ann Wood, Delphine Rodrigue, Louise Rodrigue, Alfred Rodrigue Sr., Victor Rodrigue, Maurice Rodrigue, and Maxine Rodrigue Jr.; and son-in-law, C.J. Frederick. Special thanks goes to the Journey Hospice Team and Toby Leon with Audubon Health Care.
