Salvador Rounds, 39, a native and resident of Thibodaux, died Thursday, March 
21, 2013.

Visitation will be held from 9 a.m. until funeral time at 11 a.m. Saturday at 
New St. Matthews Missionary Baptist Church in Mathews. 

Burial will follow in New St. Matthews Missionary Baptist Church cemetery in 
Mathews.

He is survived by his mother, Rosalie Rounds-Brown; father, Lester Russell; 
son, Aldoray J. Rounds; daughter, Serena Rounds; three brothers, Christopher 
and Wendell Rounds and Willie Brown Jr.; two sisters, Tomeeka and Shelly 
Rounds; step-grandparents, Rev. Earl "Mariah" Brown Sr.; godmother, Rosemary 
Shanklin; and one grandchild.

He was preceded in death by his stepfather, Willie Brown, Sr.; maternal 
grandparents, Edward Sr. and Nancy Collins-Brown; paternal grandparents, Dillie 
and Mariah Hughes-Russell; and godfather, Joe Celestine.

Jones Funeral Home in Houma in charge of arrangements.
