Ludy Cormier Stelly, 91, a native of Church Point, and resident of Montegut, 
died Monday, March 4, 2013.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.

She is survived by her daughters, Dorothy (C.J.) Daigle, Helen (James) Carlos, 
and Betty (Earl) LeBoeuf; brothers, Edmond (Leona) Cormier, E.J. (Cheryl) 
Cormier, and Bobby (Carol) Cormier; sisters, Estella Adams, Verna Lynn Smith, 
Mable (C.A.) Leaux, and Odele (Joe) Fontenot; 16 grandchildren; 24 great-
grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Floyd V. Stelly; parents, Raymond and 
Odele Cormier; daughter, Gladys Stelly Babin; brother, Adley Cormier; and two 
sisters, Ruby Mott and Louise Vernon.

Samart Funeral Home in Houma is in charge of arrangements.
