Maurice J. Thibodaux, 85, a native of Thibodaux and resident of Napoleonville, 
died Wednesday, March 20, 2013.

Visitation will be from 8:30 a.m. until funeral time Saturday at St. John the 
Evangelist Catholic Church. A Mass of Christian burial will be at 11 a.m. 
Saturday at the church, 

with burial in St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church cemetery.

He is survived by his wife, Rosalie Arcement Thibodaux; children, Michael 
Thibodaux Sr. and wife, Diane, Gail Thibodaux Daigle and husband, C.J., Danny 
Thibodaux Sr., Allen Thibodaux and wife, Kim Schrock, and Jimmy Rogers Jr.; 
sister, Vivian Usey; eight grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and three 
great-great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Bartine Thibodaux and Oleanda Adam 
Thibodaux; and brothers, Horace, Tony, Gerald and Norris Thibodaux.

Thibodaux Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
