Earl "E.J." Trahan, 69, a native and resident of Houma, died Friday, March 8, 
2013.

Funeral services will be private.

He is survived by his sister, Mary Trahan (Merlin) Bergeron; children, Peter 
Trahan and companion, Michelle, Candy Trahan, Robert Trahan and wife, Donna 
Sue, Kim Trahan, Misty Trahan and husband, Tommy; grandchildren, Lindsey, 
Megan, Hunter, Reggie and wife, Danielle, Joshua and wife, Amber, Ashia, 
Savannah, Bobby, Scott and Shawn; great-grandchildren, Darien, Lainey, Rylee, 
Carter, Alexis, Breyonna, Brandon and Nathan; and step-grandchildren, Michael, 
Nick, Seth and Jaime.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Carolyn Samanie Trahan; mother, Vernicia 
Boudreaux; father, Peter Trahan; stepfather, John Boudreaux; sister, Mamie 
Trahan; and daughter, Sandy Trahan.

The family would like to thank Haydel Memorial Hospice for their support during 
this difficult time.

Samart Funeral Home in Houma is in charge of arrangements.
