Ola D. Adams, 94, a native of Schriever, and resident of Thibodaux, died 
Sunday, April 28, 2013.

Visitation will be from 8 a.m. until funeral time Tuesday at St. Joseph Co-
Cathedral. A Mass of Christian burial will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the church, 

with burial in St. Joseph Co-Cathedral cemetery.

She is survived by her children, Lionel Adams and wife, Jeanette, Cynthia Land 
and husband, Larry, and Michael Adams and wife, Sue; sister-in-law, Catherine 
Brown; son-in-law, Donald "Spud" Chiasson; seven grandchildren; and nine great-
grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Lionel Adams; parents, Oscar Daigle 
and Melvina Roundtree Daigle; daughter, Sandra Chiasson; brother, Alton Daigle; 
sisters, Nellie Leonard, Thelma Villard, Hazel Daigle, Velma Sonier and Ethel 
Fin.

She was a retired assistant librarian at E.D.W. Catholic High School.

The family would like to give special thanks to Thibodaux Health Care for their 
many years of services.

Thibodaux Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
