Emma Mae Chaney Allen, 74, a native of Terrebonne Parish and resident of Houma, 
died Tuesday, March 26, 2013.

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until funeral time Saturday at Dularge Community 
Baptist Church. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the church, 

with burial in Southdown Cemetery.

She is survived by her sons, Raymond (Shirley) Allen Sr. of Oxnard, Calif., and 
Daniel J. Allen of Richardton, Texas; stepson, Terry (Shannon) Hawkins of 
Houma; brother, Ulysses Chaney of Washington, D.C.; daughters, Rita Mae Allen, 
Augustine A. Bethune and Ernestine A. Vice, all of Houma; 32 grandchildren; 47 
great-grandchildren; and 16 great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Junius Allen; parents, Paul Chaney 
and Selina Washington; and brother, Earl Hubbard.

Gertrude Geddes Willis Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
