Clarence P. "Mr. Beautiful" Aucoin, 89, a native of Napoleonville and resident 
of Thibodaux, died Tuesday, April 23, 2013. 
He was born Jan. 29, 1924.

Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. Friday at Landry's Funeral Home in 
Thibodaux, and from 8 a.m. until funeral time Saturday at St. Joseph Co-
Cathedral. A Mass of Christian burial will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the 
church, 

with burial in St. Joseph Co-Cathedral cemetery.

He is survived by his stepson, Daniel Frickie and companion, Klaske von Soest; 
daughter, Wanda "Mitzi" A. Duet and husband, Cary; daughter-in-law, Merlyn 
Aucoin; sisters, Agnes Acosta and Jenny Lee Drott; grandchildren, Travis P. 
Aucoin, Jeff Robert Aucoin, Scott Frickie and Dallas Frickie.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Beverly R. Perere Aucoin; parents, Henry 
Aucoin and Anita Hebert Aucoin; son, Terry P. Aucoin; brothers, Abby, Shelby, 
Albert, George, Lois, James and Norris Aucoin; and sister, Mary Louise Dupre 
and Lucille Aucoin.

Landry's Funeral Home in Thibodaux is in charge of arrangements.
