Albert Barabin, 73, a native of Terrebonne Parish and resident of Houma, died 
Saturday, April 6, 2013.

Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday at Jones Funeral Home in Houma, and 
from 9 a.m. until funeral time Saturday at St. Peter Baptist Church in 
Montegut. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the church, 

with burial in Bisland Cemetery.

He is survived by his wife, Clara Castle Barabin; sons, Michael (Wanda) 
Barabin, Albert (Bernita) Jr., Eric, Kevin, Chris, Lester (Brenda), Juan 
(Ellen), Jerome (Nicole) Deville, Carl and Jasper Allridge, Kentrell, Brandon 
(Chermary), Terrance (Darolyn) Sr., and Jonathan Castle; daughter, Cynthia 
(Delane) Barabin; brothers, Sherman (Charlotte), Charles (Alzena), and Donald 
Barabin; sisters, Rosadell LaGarde and Helen Johnson; 37 grandchildren; and 24 
great-grandchildren.

He preceded in death by his son, Chris Deville; parents, Southern and Lucille 
Barabin; grandparents, Henry and Millie Barabin; and two grandchildren.

Jones Funeral Home in Houma in charge of arrangements.
