Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until funeral time Saturday at St. Luke Catholic Church in Thibodaux. The Rosary will be recited at 10 a.m. Saturday at the church. A Mass of Christian burial will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the church, with burial in St. Joseph's Cemetery. She is survived by her mother, Sarah Duplantis Bergeron, of Thibodaux; sisters, Rose B. (Gary) Clement, Barbara B. Moss and Angelita Bergeron, all of Thibodaux, Terri (George) Bell, of Prairieville, Mary B. (William) Miller, of Houma, Bernadette B. (Clarence) Green, Juanita and Renee Bergeron, all of Columbus, Ohio; brothers, Herbert (Ruth) Bergeron Jr., James and Michael Bergeron, all of Thibodaux, and John (Grace) Bergeron, of Savannah, Ga.; five nieces, seven nephews; 11 great-nieces and nephews; and a host of other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her father, Herbert Bergeron Sr.; maternal grandparents, Willis and Juanita Henry Duplantis, and paternal grandparents, Wendell Bergeron and Elmedia Williams. Gloria graduated from E.D. White Catholic High School in 1972 and attended Nicholls State University, where she majored in education. She relocated to Columbus, Ohio, in 1987, where she spent 19 years working as a customer service manager, until her retirement. In 2008, Gloria moved back home to Louisiana to spend the rest of her life with her family. She enjoyed playing pool, listening to music, working crossword puzzles and watching Jeopardy on TV. She will be sadly missed by family and friends. Williams and Southall Funeral Home in Thibodaux is in charge of arrangements. ======================
