Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until funeral time Thursday at St. Genevieve Catholic Church. Military services will be conducted by the United Veteran's League at 11 a.m. Thursday at the church. A Mass of Christian burial will be at noon Thursday at the church, with burial in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery. He is survived by his daughter, Susan Brassette, and companion, Ray Toups Jr.; sons, Donald Brassette, and wife, Lois, David Brassette, and wife, Joan, and Leslie Brassette, and wife, Linda; sister, Bernice Plauche; eight grandchildren, Dwayne, Mark and Kip Brassette, Amy Detillier, Kristy Quantrevingt, Celeste Erny, Lee and Katie Arcement; 10 great-grandchildren; three step-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. He was the beloved husband of the late Elsie Hebert Brassette, whom he shared his life with for 71 years. He was preceded in death by his parents, Camelia Roy Brassette and Eustice Brassette; brother, Earl; and sister, Verdie Berch. He was a WWII Coast Guard veteran, who served his country with pride and honor. Thibodaux Funeral Home of Thibodaux is in charge of arrangements. ======================
