Andrew J. Cantrelle, 87, a native of Larose and resident of Houma, died Monday, 
April 29, 2013.

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until funeral time Thursday at
Bayou Blue United Methodist Church, 193 Lake Long Drive in Houma. Funeral 
services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at the church, 

with burial in Terrebonne Memorial Gardens Cemetery.

He is survived by his daughters, Darline Dupre and companion, Ronald Acosta, 
Vickie Bollinger and husband, Mark, and Trudy Giroir and husband, Bryan; 
brothers, Morris and Joseph Cantrelle; sister, Annabelle Wiley; 10 
grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Gertrude Marcel Cantrelle; son, Leland 
Cantrelle; daughter, Linda Dupre; parents, Cashmere and Estelle Richoux 
Cantrelle; brothers, Junius, Whitney, Allen and Emile Cantrelle; and sister, 
Julia Johnson.

The family would like to give special thanks to St. Joseph Hospice and 
Terrebonne General Medical Center.

Andrew was a great mechanic.

"We Thank You Jesus for being with Dad during his final journey in life."

Samart Funeral Home in Houma is in charge of arrangements.
