Walter Leon "Lou" Clarkston Sr., 64, a native and resident of Franklin, died 
Friday, April 12, 2013.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until funeral time Friday at Triune Church of 
God In Christ. Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Friday at the church, 

with burial in Franklin Cemetery.

He is survived by his wife, Dorothy Marie Clarkston; daughters, Shantel Y. and 
Tamika D. Clarkston; sons, Walter L. (Toni) and Jason G. Clarkston; brothers, 
Edward Jr. (Ethel), Joseph (Dorothy Mae), Jonathan Sr., Emmanuel, Barry J. 
(Sandra), and James C. (Wendy) Clarkston; sisters, Carrie C. (Royal) Stewart, 
Edlena C. (Darryl) Brice, Mae B. Clarkston, Tracey C. (Autrey) Johnson, and 
Antonia D. (Alonzo) Petty; and two grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Edward Sr., and Carrie D. Clarkston; 
and sister, Elizabeth Clarkston.

Jones Funeral Home in Houma is in charge of arrangements.
