Delatte, 64, a native and resident of Choctaw, died Thursday, April 25, 2013. He was born Feb. 24, 1949. Visitation will be from 8 a.m. until funeral time Saturday at Thibodaux Funeral Home. A Mass of Christian burial will be at 11:30 a.m. Saturday at St. James Chapel in Choctaw, with burial in St. James Chapel cemetery in Choctaw. He is survived by his wife, Eula Tabor Delatte; daughters, Mandy Lynn Delatte Pamplin and fiance, Yon Michael Cheramie; brothers, Albert, Kleibert, Rolandberg, Joseph Harry, Daniel and Manuel Delatte; sisters, Yvonne Hebert, Toudell Thibodaux, and Carrie Ordogne; grandchildren, Alyssa Ashlyn and Brooklyn Elise Pamplin. He was preceded in death by his parents, Andrew and Lily Tabor Delatte. He was a member of American Legion Post No.11, VFW Post No. 5097, United Veterans League in Houma, Wander's Car Club and a past member of Lagniappe Car Club. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather and a dedicated Veteran. He loved to travel with antique car clubs, family and friends.
