Shedrick "Shep" Diggs Jr., 39, a native of Houma and resident of Zachary, died 
Friday, March 29, 2013.

Visitation will be from 1 p.m. until funeral time Saturday at Mt. Zion Baptist 
Church in Thibodaux. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at the church, 

with burial in Mt. Zion Baptist Church cemetery in Thibodaux.

He is survived by his mother, Linda Bolt, of Houma; stepfather, Leonard Dorsey, 
of Houma; son, Seigan Evans, of Houma; daughter, Soleil Evans, of Houma; 
fiancee, Christine Taylor of Zachary; stepchildren, Kristyn Matthew and Justin 
Taylor; paternal grandmother, Easter Diggs; and brother, Roderick Diggs.

He was preceded in death by his father, Shedrick Diggs Sr.; brother Christopher 
Diggs; maternal grandparents; and paternal grandfather.

He served in the U.S. Navy.

M.J.R. Friendly Service Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
