Please go to http://usgwarchives.net/la/lafourche/obits/dateobits/2013/f1304.htm and click on the name of interest. ========== Lawrence "Pop" Dupre, a native of Pointe-aux-Chenes, and resident of Bourg, was born Feb. 15, 1935, and died Saturday, March 30, 2013. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until funeral time Tuesday at St. Ann Catholic Church in Bourg. A Mass of Christian burial will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the church, with burial in St. Ann Catholic Church cemetery in Bourg. He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Betty Foret Dupre; three children, Karen D. Laborde and husband, John, Denise D. Charpentier and husband, James, and Kirsta Dupre; eight grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and sisters, Hazel Lirette, Emmadell Dupre, Earline Naquin, Dorothy LeBoeuf, Mary Pinell and Mildred Falgout. He was preceded in death by his mother, Anita Deroche Dupre; father, Paul J. Dupre; brother, Olden Dupre; and sisters, Thelma Pitre, Irene Lecompte, Eula Boudreaux and Alberta Pellegrin. Lawrence was a commercial fisherman and trapper. He was an employee of Houma Tractor and Equipment. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in his name to the St. Ann's Parish Center Building Fund. Samart Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. ======================
