Please go to http://usgwarchives.net/la/lafourche/obits/dateobits/2013/f1304.htm and click on the name of interest. ========== Norma Savoie Falgout, 94, a native of Bayou Blue, resident of Houma and former resident of Westwego, died Sunday, April 28, 2013. Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at Samart Funeral Home in Houma and from 9 a.m. until funeral time Thursday at St. Louis Catholic Church. A Mass of Christian burial will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at the church, with burial in St. Louis Catholic Church cemetery. She is survived by her daughters, Lamar Gautreaux and husband, LeRoy, Melinda "Tina" Fitzgerald and Juanita "Nina" Lawrence; son, Linus "Linny" Falgout Jr. and wife, Carolyn; brother, C. Paul Savoie; sisters, Claire Marcel, Erna LaBauve and husband, Denny, and Ellen Rogers and husband, Clement; eight grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Linus "Whitey" Falgout Sr.; parents, Edward and Lucille Savoie; brothers, Murray, Phillip and Richard Savoie; and sisters, Ruby Daigle and Iris Brien. Special thanks goes to the staff of The Oaks of Houma, Thibodaux Regional Medical Center ER and ICU, and Terrebonne General Medical Center ER and CCU for the care that was given to Norma. She was a member of the Council on Aging in Westwego and a member of the Senior Center in Westwego. Samart Funeral Home in Houma is in charge of arrangements. ======================
