Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until funeral time Saturday at Landry's Funeral Home in Thibodaux. A Mass of Christian burial will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at St. Joseph Co-Cathedral, with burial in St. Joseph Co-Cathedral cemetery. He is survived by his sons, Danny Gabb and wife, Zeny, Timmy Gabb and wife, Patti, and Chris Gabb and wife, Stacey; daughters, Linda LeBlanc and husband, Lynn, and Mary Ellen Whitford and husband, Pete; sisters, Dorothy Levy, Azema Roddy, and Flora LeBlanc; seven grandchildren, Holly Ferrill, Sarah Goff, Joanna, Julie, Jacqui, Shayla and Alicia Gabb; and two great-grandchildren, Zachary and William Goff. He was preceded in death by his wife, Sarah P. Gabb; parents, Alfred and Leah Gabb; brothers, Alfred Jr., Henry and Robert Gabb; sister, Ama Gabb Roppolo; and grandchild, Leah Justine Gabb. Special thanks to the staff of Audubon Guest House and Journey Hospice for their loving care. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. He was loved by all who knew him for his generosity and compassion. He will be missed. He was a parishioner of St. Joseph Co-Cathedral.
