Eugene Paul "Calute" Guy, 76, a native and resident of Houma, died Wednesday, 
April 17, 2013.

Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. today at Samart Funeral Home in Houma and 
from 9 a.m. until funeral time Saturday at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in 
Chauvin. A Mass of Christian burial will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the church, 

with burial in St. Joseph's Catholic Church cemetery in Chauvin.

He is survived by his wife, Shirley Guy, of Houma; sons, Glynn "Pierre" 
(Vickie) Guy, Ricky (Paula) Guy, and Jamie (Shannon) Guy; daughters, Nancy 
(Gale) Guidry and Penny Guy Price; sister, Brunella Guy Authement; eight 
grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Sidney and Louella Lirette Guy; and 
sons, the Guy twins.

Samart Funeral Home in Houma is in charge of arrangements.
