Hebert, 90, a native and resident of Choctaw, passed away Wednesday, April 3, 2013. Visitation will be from 8 a.m. until funeral time Saturday at St. James Chapel in Choctaw. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the church, with burial in St. Joseph Cemetery in Thibodaux. He is survived by his daughters, Eve Webre and husband, Robert, Gloria Traigle and husband, Louis, Lisa Naquin and Ann Cortez; sons, Auguste Hebert Jr., Adam Hebert, Gary Hebert and wife, Donna, and Michael Hebert and wife, Wanda; sisters, Lucille Hebert and Alice H. Verdin; 27 grandchildren; 33 great- grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Alcida T. Hebert; parents, Alcide Hebert and Wife, Ophelia Rink Hebert; brothers, Octave, Joseph and Allen Hebert; and sisters, Mary H. Ford and Lucia H. Percle. He was a PFC in the U.S. Army. In his spare time, he enjoyed working hard, planting gardens and working in the fields. The family would like to thank the doctors and staff at St. Joseph Hospice.
