Visitation will be from 1 p.m. until funeral time at Martin and Castille Downtown Funeral Home in Lafayette. A graveside service will be at 3:30 p.m. Thursday at Calvary Mausoleum. He is survived by his daughter, Melissa Hebert Parks and husband, Kevin, of Spring, Texas; son, the Rev. Paul "Skip" Hebert and wife, Judith, of Dallas, Ga.; sister, Theresa Broussard and husband, Paris; brother, Francis Hebert; six grandchildren, Troy Mattei, Rachel Reaid, Rebekah Woessner, Joel Robert Hebert, Katie Parks and Kelly Parks; and two great-grandchildren, Victoria Reaid and Lindsey Reaid. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Tommie Marie Hebert; daughter, Patricia Mattei; great-grandson, John Louis Woessner; sister, Alice McAllister; and parents, Robert and Helen Hebert. He retired after working 35 years with Dresser Industries. He was a member of the Chorale Acadienne Group; he loved music, singing and playing his classical guitar. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great -randfather and friend to all who knew him, and he will be dearly missed. "I am Old Man River, and I just keep rollin' along."
