Please go to http://usgwarchives.net/la/lafourche/obits/dateobits/2013/f1304.htm and click on the name of interest. ========== Andrew "Jay, A.J., Lappie Dog" Lapeyrouse, 62, a native of Little Caillou, and resident of Gheens, died at 10:26 p.m. Tuesday, April 16, 2013. Visitation will be from 5 to 10 p.m. Friday and from 8 a.m. until funeral time Saturday at St. Anthony Catholic Church in Gheens. A Mass of Christian burial will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the church. He is survived by his wife of 37 years, Judy Plaisance Lapeyrouse; mother, Olivia LeBoeuf Lapeyrouse; son, Jason Lapeyrouse and wife, Odile Lapeyrouse; daughter, Jana Lapeyrouse and fiance, Darrel Freeman Jr.; sister, Peggy Lapeyrouse; and grandchildren, Destiny Pledger, Jason Lapeyrouse Jr., Sophia Lapeyrouse and Benjamin Freeman. He was preceded in death by his father, Andrew Lapeyrouse Sr.; father-in-law, Levy Plaisance; mother-in-law, Adelia Matherne Plaisance; and brother, Richard Lapeyrouse. He was a parishioner of St. Anthony Catholic Church in Gheens and was a tug boat captain for D and S Marine. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He will be missed by many but never forgotten. Samart-Mothe Funeral Home in Raceland is in charge of arrangements. ======================
