Wilfred D. Ledet, 75, a native of Houma and resident of Chauvin, died Sunday, 
April 28, 2013.

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until funeral time Wednesday at Samart Funeral 
Home in Houma. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral 
home.

He is survived by his former wife, Mary Lee Rodgers; son, Carl Ledet Sr.; 
brothers, Aubrey and Ray Ledet; sisters, Mable Griffin and Rita Dye; seven 
grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Lucille Chauvin Ledet; father, Abbie 
Ledet; daughters, Sandra Ledet Genry, Belinda Ledet Alleman and Connie Ann 
Ledet; and son, Wilfred Ledet Jr.

Samart Funeral Home in Houma is in charge of arrangements.
