She was preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Agnes Dupre; and daughter- in-law, Veronica Dupre Lyons. She was a devoted and loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother and friend. Having to retire from her job as a produce manager at the Piggly Wiggly due to her illness, "Maw Bert" loved her job and co-workers like they were family. She was a parishioner of St. Joseph Catholic Church and a member of the Ladies Altar Society and Catholic Daughters of Americas. She loved football and baseball, especially the Atlanta Braves, the Saints and the LSU Tigers. She loved reading, crossword puzzles, sewing, cooking and most of all spending time with her family. The family would like to thank the Haydel Medical Clinic, Dr. Russell Henry, nurses and staff of Terrebonne General Medical Center and Amedysis for taking such wonderful care of Bertha. Most of all our deepest and heartfelt appreciation goes to Dr. Dickie Haydel for the 40-plus years of taking such great care of her. She felt her life was in great hands. Samart Funeral Home in Houma is in charge of arrangements. ======================
