Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Mount Olive Baptist Church in Arlington, Texas, with burial in Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Park. Those left to cherish his memory are his wife of nine years, Sakeena Adams; son, Jonathan Mack and wife, Kimberly; daughters, Kayla and Heather Holland; sister, Barbara Mack Jakob; granddaughter, Sabrina Mack; numerous nephews and cousins; and a host of friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Richard and Ruth Mack. David was born in Springhill, and he graduated from Nicholls State University in 1971 as an economics major. He was president of the Intrafraternity Council and was instrumental in forming service organizations on campus. He had a lifelong interest in the stock market, making his first investment at the age of 12. His career was comprised of 21 years with the Department of Housing and Urban Development. He was the former senior loan officer at Baton Rouge Savings and Loan Association and vice-president at Terrebonne Savings and Loan in Houma. He had a strong passion for cooking for his family and friends, and was an avid sports enthusiast. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in his name to Tarrant Area Food Bank, www.tafb.org. J.E. Foust and Son Funeral Home in Grapevine, Texas, is in charge of arrangements. ======================
