Sybil Chappell Magee, 79, a native of Transylvania and resident of Houma, died 
Tuesday, April 9, 2013.

Visitation will be from 9:30 a.m. until funeral time Friday at St. Eloi 
Catholic Church. A Mass of Christian burial will be at 11 a.m. Friday at the 
church, 

with burial in St. Eloi Catholic Church cemetery.

She is survived by her sons, Basil Magee and wife, Charmaine, of Theriot, and 
Mike Magee and wife, Dawn, of Goldsboro, N.C.; daughters, Patrice Molaison and 
husband, Tommy, of Theriot, and Shelia Neel and husband, Bruce, of Franklin, 
Tenn.; brother, Norman Chappell; sisters, Wanda Swilley and Jimmie Gayle 
McPherson; grandchildren, Natasha Molaison, Jared Marcel and wife, Belinda, Lee 
Molaison and wife, Stephanie, Tanner Magee and wife, Kristen, Josh Molaison and 
wife, Lauren, Kandace Ordoyne and husband, Travis, Kristen Magee, Blake Neel, 
Dane, Paige, Carleigh Magee and Samuel Magee; and great-grandchildren, Cullen 
and Calee Ezell, Grayson Marcel, Brogan and Ansley Molaison, Carter Molaison, 
Kate, Grace and Julia Magee, Gracie Lovell, Emaleah Guidry and Aydan Ordoyne.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Carl Chappell Magee; parents, 
Marshall and Thula Chappell; son, Carl Dennis Magee; grandsons, Scott Hempell 
and Brayden Molaison; brother, Billy Gene Chappell; and sisters, Voree Walters, 
Cloteal Ezell, Carolyn Johns, Sonya Chappell and Betty McConnell.

She was a parishioner of St. Eloi Catholic Church.

Chauvin Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
