Lester Niehaus, 62, a native of Evansville, Ind., and resident of Schriever, 
died Monday, March 25, 2013.

A memorial service will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Christian Assembly Church in 
Schriever.

He is survived by his wife, Angela Cato Niehaus; mother, Mary Newman; son, 
Jason Niehaus; daughters, Leslie and Katie Niehaus; brothers, Dennis, Herbert, 
Stephen, Brian and Cary Niehaus; sisters, Diane Peveto, Linda Browning, Denise 
Miller, Susan Authement, Terri Niehaus and Sherri Niehaus; one grandchild, Finn 
Niehaus; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father, Harvey Niehaus; brothers, David and 
Jerry Niehaus; and sister, Carolyn Harris.

Samart Funeral Home in Houma is in charge of arrangements.
