Donald James Price Sr., 79, a native of Bourg and resident of Houma, died at 
7:50 a.m. Monday, April 29, 2013, peacefully at home surrounded by his family.

Visitation will be from 6 to 10 p.m.Tuesday at Chauvin Funeral Home, and from 9 
a.m. until funeral time Wednesday at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Catholic 
Church. A Mass of Christian burial will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the church, 

with burial in Most Holy Rosary Catholic Church cemetery.

He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Janet Remont Price; children, Christine 
Price, Lynne Price Richaud and husband, Eddie Richaud III, Donald Price Jr. and 
Wade Price; five brothers, Harold and wife, Virgie, George and wife, Rita, 
Charles and wife, Ruby, Robert and wife, Laura, and Carl Price and wife, 
Brenda; sister-in-law, Rose Price; 11 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; 
and numerous great-great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Sheldon and Lucille Boquet Price; two 
brothers, Herbert J. and Lloyd J. "Capt. Lloyd" Price; sister, Elma Price 
White; and one granddaughter, January Elizabeth Richaud.

He worked in the oil and gas industry and was a retired crew boat owner who 
contracted with Texaco. 
He loved fishing, gardening and skimming.
Donald loved staying active and playing competitively with his grandchildren.

He will be missed greatly and leaves behind many happy memories.

Chauvin Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
