Jimmie Thomas Pylant, 70, a native of Pioneer, and resident of Thibodaux, 
passed away Wednesday, March 27, 2013.

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until funeral time Wednesday at Thibodaux 
Funeral Home. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral 
home, 

with burial in Garden of Memories Cemetery in Gray.

He is survived by his wife, Deborah "Debbie" Mire Pylant; brother, Gene Pylant; 
sister, Willene Pylant Hendrix; and numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and 
great-nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, W.A. Pylant Sr. and Ollie Jones 
Pylant; brothers, W.A. "Bill" Pylant Jr., H.E. "Dry" Pylant, Marvin Pylant, and 
M.A. "Till" Pylant; and sister, Ment Pylant Dodd.

He was a retired machinist who worked at Thibodaux Boiler Works and Oil States-
Skagit Smatco.

In his spare time, he enjoyed reading and also vegetable and flower gardening.

Thibodaux Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
