Bertha Williams Stewart, 56, a native of Terrebonne Parish, and resident of 
Houma, died Thursday, April 11, 2013.

Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday at Jones Funeral Home in Houma and 
from 9 a.m. until funeral time Saturday at Beacon Light Baptist Church. Funeral 
services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the church, 

with burial in Christ Baptist Church Cemetery.

She is survived by her husband, Allen J. Stewart; sons, Kevin and Jamal 
Stewart; brothers, Lawrence Boykins Jr., Levy Boykins and David Williams; and 
sisters, Patricia (Charlie) Ruffin, Betty and Barbara Boykins, Mary (Anthony) 
Miller, Rosalie (Frederick) Miller and Dora Cooks.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Lawrence Sr. and Dora Boykins; 
sister, Lily Dangerfield; brother, Joseph Boykins; and grandparents, Lovenia 
Pinky, Bertha Boykins, Joseph Boykins, and Russell Williams.

Jones Funeral Home in Houma is in charge of arrangements.
