Martha Enola Smith Tabor, 68, of Slidell, entered into eternal rest in the arms 
of our Lord at 4 a.m. Sunday, April 14, 2013.

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until funeral time Wednesday at Honaker Funeral 
Home in Slidell. Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral 
home, 

with burial in Forest Lawn Cemetery.

She was the beloved wife of Butler Tabor Sr. for 52 years; mother of Butler 
Tabor Jr., Charles Tabor and wife, Kaline, and daughter, Tina Tabor.; sister of 
Floyd Bealer, Malcolm Smith, Lenora Whitney and Barbara Levron. She is also 
survived by her loving pet, Dusty II.

She was the daughter of the late Malcolm Smith Sr. and Stella Martin Smith. She 
was the sister of the late Michael Bealer and Marilyn June LaCross.

Martha was born in Gretna, grew up in Westwego and resided in Slidell for 30 
years. She was a member of the Ladies Lions Club in Westwego, the DAV Auxiliary 
in Slidell and the VFW Auxiliary in Port Sulphur.
She was the hostess of Doug's Restaurant in Slidell.

She was loved by so many family members and friends. 

She was lovingly cared for by the Slidell Memorial Hospital MICU Team and 
Lakeshore Hospice.
Dr. Pichon and Dr. Parker, you are angels on earth, thank you.

Honaker Funeral Home in Slidell is in charge of arrangements.
