Robert John Toups, 69, a native of Terrebonne Parish and resident of Houma,
died Sunday, April 14, 2013.

Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. Wednesday and from 9 a.m. until funeral 
time Thursday at Samart Funeral Home in Houma. Funeral services will be at 11 
a.m. Thursday at the funeral home, 

with burial in Holy Rosary Cemetery.

He is survived by his daughter, Roxanne Toups Landry; brothers, Merlin A. and 
Warren A. Toups; sister, Cecile Dupre; grandsons, Ryan and Dustin Landry; 
godchildren, Shannon Chaisson, Elodie McDaniel, Robin McElroy, Kristy Liner, 
Lacey Bourg and David Pitre Jr.; and numerous nieces, nephews, friends and 
family.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Judy C. Toups; parents, John J. Toups Jr. 
and Beatrice Breaux Toups; brother, Marvin A. Toups; sister, Mary Ann Toups 
Cuneo; and godson, John Joseph Cuneo.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in his name to Samart 
Funeral home in Houma to assist with funeral expenses.

Samart Funeral Home in Houma is in charge of arrangements.
