Joyce Ann Willis, 65, a native of Napoleonville and a resident of Novato, 
Calif., died Thursday, March 28, 2013.

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until funeral time Saturday at St. John Baptist 
Church in Napoleonville. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the 
church, 

with burial in New Belmont Baptist Church Cemetery in Labadieville.

She is survived by her husband, Alvin Willis Sr.; sons, Alvin Jr. and Herbert 
Willis; brothers, Edison (Francis) Davis Sr., Obra (Carolyn) Davis, Leonce and 
Melvin Plant, all of Labadieville; sisters, Eula Thibodaux of Vallejo, Calif., 
and Shirley Jackson of Thibodaux; and three grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Leonce and Alma Mae Pierre Plant; and 
sister, Audrey Garrett.

Williams and Southall Funeral Home in Napoleonville is in charge of 
arrangements.
