Harold John Zeringue, 61, a native of Arnaudville, and resident of Houma, died 
Thursday, April 11, 2013.

Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. Monday and from 9 a.m. until funeral time 
Tuesday at Chauvin Funeral Home. Funeral services will be at noon Tuesday at 
the funeral home, 

with burial in Bayou Black Cemetery.

He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Jane Marie LaCava Zeringue; daughters, 
Naomi Gilmore and husband, Scott, and Melissa Bourg and husband, Rodney; son, 
Steven Zeringue; six grandchildren, Currin Pellegrin, Jordyn Lena, Caleb Bourg, 
Kailyn Zeringue, Julia Gilmore and Avin Zeringue; siblings, Zeke and Sue, Alice 
and P.J. Toby, Clyde, Davey and Suzy, Alvin and Michelle, Freddie and wife, 
Annie, Freda and Robert Stelly, Dwayne and Maria, Diana and Kenny Chaisson and 
Bobby; mother-in-law, Gloria Swarthout; and brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, 
Lois and Larry Lawrence, Tony and Judy LaCava.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Hervin A. Zeringue and Alfreda Stelly 
Zeringue.

He never knew a stranger and was loved by all. He will be dearly missed and 
loved forever.

Chauvin Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
