Visitation will be from 9:30 a.m. until funeral time Saturday at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Chauvin. A Mass of Christian burial will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the church, with burial in St. Joseph Catholic Church cemetery in Chauvin. She is survived by her son, Keith Patrick Authement and wife, Phyllis, of Thibodaux; daughter, Cynthia "Cindy" Thibodeaux and husband, Raleigh, of Houma; daughter, Jeffie Murphy and spouse, Ricky, of Bourg; six grandchildren, Kent Thibodeaux and wife, Shanna, Colette Robichaux and husband, Brian, Sunnie Verdin and spouse, Brock, Melanie Rodrigue and husband, Jammin, Kipp Authement, and Danielle Authement; 11 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and 10 step-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years and the love of her life, Jeffrey Authement; parents, Felix Pellegrin and Clavia Robichaux; sisters, Theresa Hebert, Eta Dupre and Inez Daye; and brother, Modris Pellegrin. She was a devoted wife and a wonderful mother and grandmother. She enjoyed gardening, cooking, bird watching, crossword puzzles and art. She held a deep appreciation for education and children. She was a former member of the Catholic Daughters, the Terrebonne Garden Club, the VFW Ladies Auxiliary, The Lioness Club, the St. Ann Altar Society and Beta Sigma Phi Sorority.
