Nelson Paul Autin Jr., 76, a native of Boutte and resident of Houma, died at 5 
a.m. Friday, May 24, 2013.

Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m.Sunday at Chauvin Funeral Home and from 9 
a.m. until funeral time Monday at St. Gregory Barbarigo Catholic Church. A Mass 
of Christian burial will be at 11 a.m. Monday at the church, 

with burial in St. Francis de Sales Cemetery No. 2.

He is survived by his wife, Helen Ledet Autin, of Houma; and daughter, Monique 
Breaux and husband, David, of Houma.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Nelson Autin Sr. and Rosa Guidry 
Autin; brothers, Joseph, Stephen and Lovincie Autin; and sisters, Zelma 
Louvierre, Vivian Smith, Sadie Lirette and Florence Domangue.

He was a parishioner of St. Gregory Barbarigo Catholic Church and a member of 
the Knights of Columbus. 
He loved to cut grass and take care of his family.

Chauvin Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
