Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until funeral time Thursday at Annunziata Catholic Church. A Mass of Christian burial will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at the church, with burial in Terrebonne Memorial Park Cemetery. She is survived by her husband, Leo Joseph Bergeron, of Houma; sons, Charlie Bergeron and wife, Lynn, of Schriever, and Randy Bergeron and wife, Kim, of Houma; brother, Johnny Buquet, of Beaufort, S.C.; sisters, Audrey Reeves, of Orange, Texas, and Ethel Fenwick, of Virginia; grandchildren, Michelle Lane, of Houma, Bradley Bergeron, of Gray, Andrew Bergeron, of Schriever, and Tracie Lyons, of Bayou Blue; five step-grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and 10 step-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Fred Joseph Buquet and Lucretia Buquet; brother, Fred J. Buquet Jr.; and sister, Elsie Anderson. She was a parishioner of Annunziata Catholic Church, where she served as a Eucharistic Minister, Catechism teacher and Confirmation teacher for 15 years. She was a librarian and homemaker, and was one of the first classmates of Nicholls State University. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends.
