Eddie Bergeron, 66, a lifelong resident of Houma, died Saturday, May 18, 2013.

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until funeral time Tuesday at First United 
Methodist Church in Houma. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the 
church, 

with burial in Garden of Memories Cemetery.

He is survived by his best friend and wife, Sharon Davis Bergeron; loving 
sister, Trevelyn Bergeron Flowers; loving children, son, Dennis Bergeron and 
wife, Andrea; daughters, Lori Ann Bergeron and Jennifer Bergeron Laughlin and 
husband, Brian; and grandchildren, Bryant Bergeron, Brittany Bergeron, Brandi 
Bergeron Scott; Bailey Bergeron; Kayla Bergeron, Kameron Schandorff, Mason 
Laughlin, Aubrey Laughlin and Emma Laughlin.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Dennis Joseph Bergeron and Edith 
Morris Selby Bergeron.

He was a member of First United Methodist Church. 
He served in the U.S. Navy from 1964 to 1972 and retired from Bellsouth after 
35 years of service.
He loved the Mardi Gras season and being with all his family and friends. He 
was an active member and vice president of the Krewe of Hercules. To his family 
and friends he was a true Mr. Mardi Gras, giving all his heart and soul to the 
club.

The family would like to thank the doctors at CIS, Dr. Bruce Guidry and Dr. 
Brian Matherne at Family Doctor Clinic, and the nurses in CCU at TGMC.

Chauvin Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
