Wade Joseph "Lil Wade" Blackburn Jr., 18, a native of St. Mary Parish, and 
resident of Morgan City, died Monday, April 29, 2013.

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until funeral time Saturday at the Siracusaville 
Recreation Center in Morgan City. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday 
at the center, 

with burial in Morgan City Cemetery.

He is survived by his parents, Terrilyn "Tootie" (Durwin) Garner Short and Wade 
Joseph (Marissa) Blackburn Sr.; brothers, Tyus Jones, Tyson Jones, Titus 
"Bigman" Jones Jr., De'Ante and Donte Short and Derrick Hayes; sister, Tyesha 
Jones; and grandparents, Elaine A. Garner Riley, Linda "NanNan" Blackburn, and 
Mary "NuNu" Jones.

He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Roland Harris.

Community Funeral Home in Houma is in charge of arrangements.
