Please go to http://usgwarchives.net/la/lafourche/obits/dateobits/2013/f1305.htm and click on the name of interest. ========== Gladys LeBoeuf Bland, 90, a native and resident of Houma, died at 7:09 a.m. Saturday, May 18, 2013. Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at Chauvin Funeral Home and from 9 a.m. until funeral time Wednesday at Annunziata Catholic Church. A Mass of Christian burial will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the church, with burial in Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Cemetery. She is survived by her husband of 71 years, Homer Allison Bland Sr, of Houma; sons, Homer A. "Butch" Bland Jr, and wife, Janis Bland, of Thibodaux, and Larry J. Bland and wife, JoAnn Bland, of Gramercy; daughter, Pam Bland, of Houston, Texas; nine grandchildren, Duane, Craig, Todd, Robbie and Jason Bland, Brad Molaison, Kim Chiasson, Christina Delaneuville, and Nicole Ware; and 23 great- grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Hewitt P. LeBoeuf and Bessie Hymel LeBoeuf; and sister, Josie Bergeron. She was a parishioner of Annunziata Catholic Church. Gladys was a volunteer worker at Chabert Medical Center for many years. She was an officer of the Ladies Altar Society, American Legion Post No. 3100, VFW Post No. 3700, and was past president of AARP. She was a member of Annunziata K. of C. Auxiliary and a Eucharistic Minister. The family wishes to thank Dr. Russell Henry, the staff at AMG Specialty Hospital and Acadian Ambulance Service (Acadian, you know what we are talking about).
